Assignment #1 - PREDICTION
Your assignment today is to write a short prediction about the cover of the novel shown above. You must include the following information in your prediction:
a.) Title
b.) What do you think will happen in the story (beginning, middle, and end)

I think the tittle is Spirt Bear. I believe that it will start like this... The boy go's into the woods and he see's the bear with him and his family. I think the middle of the story is... The bear takes his family and he has to live alone in the wood's. I believe it will end like this... He gets his family back and the bear is nice to him and his family.

One thing that most students tend to mis on their first few blog posts are transition words (Also, additionally, however, etc).
ReplyDeleteI believe that the title of this novel is "Spirit Bear". I think that the novel will start off by a boy in lost the wilderness needing to survive but finding nothing that will help him survive.I think the middle of this novel is that he will find a campfire and from the smoke a bear will appear in the sky as a spirit bear and the boy will need to compete a task for the bear to get out of the wilderness to survive and in the end the boy will have done the task and the spirit bear will give him what he asks for (surviving and getting out of the wilderness. What do u think :) !!!

ReplyDeleteI think Touching Spirit Bear will be the title. I think it is about a boy who somehow comes into the woods and gets lost and stays there for several weeks. Along the way he finds a bear that attacks him,he survives but realizes the bear was trying to tell him something. So in the middle he ends up going back and the bear gives him a task but he fails. The bear is so upset he leaves the boy alone with nothing to help him survive. In the end he goes back and completes the task so the bear tells him "he is a spirit bear" and helps him get out of the forest. The end
ReplyDeleteI think the book's title is "The Spirit Bear". I think the book is about a young boy who dosen't fit in with everyone at school and around him. I predict that the boy finds a spiritual bear while going on a trip with his family. I think that the bear will help him go through life and help him be more social around people. I also think that in the middle of the book the bear get's in to some type of trouble. Later I think the boy may have trouble working around people in the communitee, but later he finds out that if he try's to do things by himself he can achieve anything. :)

ReplyDeletei anticipate that the book is about this boy who is from doing his driving test and he passed so he asked his dad if he could go and drive up the mountain but when he,s driving the car falls off the cliff and he survives the fall but the he comes face to face with a huge spirit bear.
The Beast
This teenager is from doing his driving test.He's so happy that he passed the test.he went to his dad and started begging his father if he can go and take a drive up the mountain road. His dad said yes and he went outside started the car and headed for the mountain.
When he was driving he started texting and bragging that he got his driving license.He completely took his eyes of the road and as he wasn't looking the car was heading right for the cliff.the car dramatically falls of the the cliff and crash lands into a forest like rain drops falling from the sky, luckily he survived the crash landing.As he comes out of the car he hears something that sounds like a bear.he stands up and comes face to face with a huge spirit bear!!!!!!!
The bear starts talking to him and at first he thought it was just his imagination, but then the the bear calls out his name and he starts running away but the bear tells him i'm the only one that can help you get out of this jungle.They stay together with the bear for five days.The father is really worried that something bad might have happened to him. The father calls the pops and tells them that his son is missing.the police send a patrol group up the mountain to check he's there.After three days the cops still haven't found him the father is getting really worried. The bear finds the path out and after the teenage boy is out of the jungle he explains to the cops his story and he says this spirit bear helped me out he turns back and he sees no bear. the cops think he's crazy. they give him a ride home and he's father is so happy that his son is ok. THE END.
Touching Spirit Bear
ReplyDeleteThe story begins with the guy name Mick. He was going to his grandma house because she is sick but her house is far away in the mountain. When he was going to Granma’s house something hit him and he got in sleep. He woke up he saw the three baby bear trying to eat him so I ran away from the bear but in front of me was moms bear she was huge that Mick couldn't she her face she looked angry because Mick touched the baby bear so the bear attack than Mick found the knife and the fight start. The bear was killing Mick than Mick woke up and lucky it was dream and he was so scared and afraid. But the dream will come true. So when you see the bear be careful good luck.

Title: The Spirit Bear
ReplyDeleteI think the boy will get lost in a big and dark forest. An old pet that pasted away will help him guide through the forest. A wolf pack will start attacking him and then he will run back into the forest to run away from the wolves. He will get lost again but he will have no food because the wolfs ate all the food. The spirit bear will guide him home and help him get heathly again.
tittle;boy and the spirit bear in the woods i think the story is about this big white bear who the boy has to defeat alone cause the big bear took his family away at the end i think that he is gonna defeat the big bear in the middle i think that he lives alone and for the beggining i think the boy goes on an adventure and comes face to face with the big bear
ReplyDeleteI think the title is " Spirit Bear " because there's a huge bear shadow and a boy looking at it. I think the story begins like this, there's a boy who goes camping in the woods and has a dream that he gets attacked by a grizzly bear two times the size he is! The boy wakes up immediately and notices it's a dream.
ReplyDeleteBut what he doesn't know that the spirit bear sent him that dream to be aware of what might happen in those scary woods. The spirit bear is trying to help him be aware if the woods because it's full of vicious bears. The next night the boy has a dream of the spirit bear talking to him and telling him about the huge grizzly bears in the camp.
The boy doesn't listen to the spirit bear this time, then he gets attacked by a big bear and it rips up his clothes and leaving some cuts on his upper body. Then the spirit bear comes to life in a shadow infront of the boy saying he is trying to protect him so run away! But this time the boy listens.
I think the title is killer bear because I believe that the bear kill every one it see.

ReplyDelete@sponge bob I like your story was really funny and it was good but the story was too long. You need to fix your gammer because you need to write he's not he,s and you need a capital after the period but the story was really good sponge bob!
ReplyDelete@Sandy Squirrel- You need to correct one word "Compete" to Complete. You could improve it by after writing it could read it over to see your errors that you had. But besides that it was really good. :D
ReplyDelete@Oreo- I feel you have done very good on your post but there were some spelling mistakes that can be fixed such as tittle* you might want to change it to title. Also go's* i think you meant to spell goes. I think that there might be a little bit of grammar errors but instead you should say " he is with his family in the woods and he saw a spirit bear. Make those changes and I think your going to have an amazing post ! :)

ReplyDeleteI predict that this guy lives in the woods and all the sudden. He hears a bear moan sort of like a bear moan but it was very faint. He walks outside and he comes face to face with a huge spirit bear. The bear talks and says what do you seek. The man says I seek nothing this is my home. The bear says no this is my home not yours and I share with no one. Then the man picks up a spear and says. Lets battle for the territory. And that was the last they were both ever seen again.
@pooh bear- I think u did great but the only error u made was how to spell. Community so next time i think u should use edit before and just really . Try and see the errors other then that i think u did great:)

ReplyDeleteYou need to make your sentences flow and use punctuation and periods.
You spelled some words in correct and you missed to put some words where they need to be, but over all your prediction is very interesting.
@sponge bob i really liked your prediction but remember capitals and say the word i think
